Planning a wedding can create a lot of questions that need to be answered; what style of venue dressing should we have? What attire is going to suit me? What food should we choose?
So here at Heaton House Farm, we like to host EXCLUSIVE Experience Events for the couples who have their wedding booked with us, to come along to find their answers, and what an amazing event this really is!
Our incredible team of Coordinators met our guests at the front door ready and prepared to help with all thing’s venue for their special day, and what a welcome with beaming smiles and laptops at the ready!
A huge part of wedding planning for our brides, is hair and make-up and of course the wedding dress! Sarah Meredith was in our Bridal Preparation room showing an example of the incredible bridal hair and makeup she can create, and Bridal Quarters (who joined our supplier directory recently – welcome!) came along with not only beautiful dresses on display but brought along a model dressed in one too!
And for our wedding guests that attended, Kinderton Hats Studio were here with some incredible fascinators and hats for guests to try – so that’s all of our ladies dressed and beautiful for the weddings!
We welcomed Staffordshire Registrars for couples to ask those all-important ceremony questions; ceremony times, readings, music choices. There are a few very important things to sort out with the registrars before your day, and without them, the ‘I Do’s can’t go ahead, so this was a prime opportunity to organise!
We cannot count how many times we’ve been asked if dogs can attend weddings here! And of course, our answer is YES! We love animals! They just can’t go into our dining rooms or accommodation, so Pawfect Wedding Chaperones are here to take care of your bundles of joy! They even bought along their gorgeous guys who certainly got A LOT of attention!
This year’s setups were beautiful! Our Oak Barn was dressed in stunning Autumnal colours by Green Earth Flowers, along with a pop of colour in the Dining Room which looked stunning!
Under The Night Sky looked incredible with a breathtaking greenery arch for behind the registrar’s table and the chairs lining the aisle with lace and matching greenery – exceptionally elegance from Willow & Fig Venue Dressing.
You can’t come to Heaton House Farm without some tasty treats! So the Stable Yard Catering team were here to provide delicious samples of what couples could be tucking into on their special day, they understand food is such a huge part of someone’s wedding day so the team of chefs came out of the kitchen to help discuss all of the important things such as any dietaries guest may have.
They have also launched their drinks packages! Examples of each package had been set up so couples can visualise what they can provide for their day.
Wedding cakes are also a big discussion point, from the number of tiers, flavour, and decoration! Sue from For Goodness Cake was ready to help – and her samples certainly did too!
Nothing beats Ice Cream to finish; so Vitaliano was here with his Ice Cream trike with yummy ice cream – and what an amazing idea for weddings all year round as he can serve indoors too!
From dancing on the dancefloor to our extremely talented musicians to dancing to the beat on dance mats, everyone really enjoyed the entertainment!
Taking to the floor in our showcase was Wedding Sounds DJ; who bought along his rustic setup and Saxophonist to get the party started! Liz Hendry tinkling away on the keys, and ready to rock was Groovy Revolution!
If you were looking for something fun to add to your day, we had some ideas for you! Guests were blown away by the magic of David Oakley, then captured themselves in the selfie mirror with That Prop Guy, before bouncing around on the dance mat and bouncy castle from Eventech; then if they were feeling lucky gave the roulette wheel a spin with GB Fun Casinos – which would you choose?
Wonderful Words in Writing
Lots of couples may forget about the stationery for their day, invitations are the first thing that your guests see on your wedding day, and Inspired By Lisa was on hand to design some personalised stationery to fit the wedding themes; that can be followed through to place names and seating plans. But if it’s rustic styling you’re looking for; Just Add Chalk are a lovely alternative for beautiful chalk illustrations.
Finding a photographer that suits you as a couple is a really important tick box to capture your wedding exactly how you want to! For this event we had Chelsea Shoesmith join us chatting with couples and SMH Photography had their stand of stunning pictures and albums set up and they also photographed our amazing event!
