TROPICAL CLIMATES HIT HEATON HOUSE FARM FOR THE CHRISTMAS IN THE CARIBBEAN BALL 2022

It was the year to be whisked away to Christmas in the Caribbean…

On 3 evenings of the coldest nights of the year when temperatures dropped to below freezing, it certainly wasn’t cold inside at our annual Christmas Ball.

TROPICAL ARRIVAL

As guests stepped into the Oak Barn they were dazzled by an array of greenery & fish netting provided by Venue Perfection. Wild birds descended from the beams to submerge everyone into the feeling of the Caribbean.

The first photo opportunity against our fantastic greenery backdrop was kindly supplied by Love Lights The Way with a neon ‘Lets Party’ to get everyone in the mood, guests were encouraged to grab an inflatable parrot, monkey or flamingo or simply don a pair of funky sunglasses and SMILE…..

All guests were greeted by drinks served from our unique Tiki-themed bar, complete with twinkly lights and our friendly team wearing warming smiles & matching colourful lays

Music to the ears… As our 3-piece Steele Band provided arrival music provided by Stage Invaders, the soothing tunes allowed guests to fully relax ahead of the evening’s entertainment.

STEP THROUGH INTO DINNER AND BE TRANSPORTED TO PARADISE

The dining barn was transformed into a tropical paradise with an array of multi-coloured lanterns cascading from the ceiling, along with the dazzling table centrepieces provided by Venue Perfection & Kole Events, tables were a wash of bright colours to add the tropical feel. Love Lights The Way provided multi-coloured light-up letters along the edge of the dance floor.

DINNER

A delightful Caribbean-inspired 3-course meal awaited our ravenous guests, all served by Stable Yard Catering. Culinary delights included Ital soup or Crispy Pulled Pork for starters, followed by Jerk Chicken Breast or Halloumi Kebabs with Rice and the desserts did not fail to ‘wow’ as guests were served either a Pina Colada Tart or Cocoa Rum Gateaux…

Our mid-dinner entertainment provided by Stage Invaders wowed our audience with a high-energy performance with 3 highly talented acrobats along with guests getting interactive and having a go on the Limbo and seeing ‘How low, can you go!!’

DANCING

After the desserts had been cleared it was now the turn of our amazing host & DJ, Tom Finkill and talented guys from The Beard Band to get everyone up and fill the dance floor…. The Beard Band provided the live set with the classics then Tom Finkill finished the night with top hits through to the end of the evening.

SURFBOARDS OUT

So what better way to hit waves whilst in the Caribbean than to have a go on the Surf Board Simulator provided by L4 Leisure, laughs all around by guests and as they tried to stay steady and ride the imaginary waves, what a way to end the Christmas in the Caribbean experience!

And all captured on Saturday night by one of our fantastic recommended photographers Steve Bridgwood.
