If you choose Heaton House Farm as your dream wedding venue, then we will do absolutely everything we can to help you organise the most memorable day of your life.
That’s why we host our Experience Events, exclusively for couples who have booked a date for their wedding at Heaton House Farm.
Inviting a range of our most trusted and experienced suppliers, we organise an event which really helps you to picture how you’d like your wedding to look and decide what you need to make this happen.
On Sunday March 24th, we opened our doors again to invite all the couples who have an upcoming wedding with us to meet our favourite suppliers and get lots of inspiration for their big day.
Our Experience Events are constantly growing, and Sunday was no exception as we welcomed over 500 guests to enjoy an afternoon of tasters, inspiration and plenty of fun!
The first thing our guests saw upon arrival at Heaton House Farm was the Rustic Bar adorned with reception drinks and samples for our guests to try. The set up of our Rustic Bar allows couples to see the different ways they could present their reception drinks to their guests and the variety on offer.
Alongside this, we set up our Pimp Your Gin display to show our couples how they can add a twist to their reception drinks by allowing their guests to choose a preferred gin, tonic and garnishes.
Although the doors to the main event opened at 1pm, we invited all our couples who are getting married in 2019 to come and visit us an hour earlier for an upgraded wine tasting experience.
We opened our VIP area over in The Old Stableyard Restaurant which was the perfect setting for our couples to sit down and choose the wines that would be served on their special day.
Making your way round to the Wedding Barn, the guests were treated to the delightful sounds of our favourite entertainers as DJ Tom Finkill, steel band Pantonic All Stars and The Beard Band took turns getting everybody in the party mood!
Taking a seat by the bar with a drink and spending half an hour listening to the various acts was absolute bliss – what a perfect and relaxing way to choose suppliers!
Heading across the dancefloor, we had set up Under the Night Sky to show our couples how they could style their ceremony. Qube presented a simple yet stunning set-up which showed everyone how they could enhance the space under the twinkling lights.
As couples entered Steele’s Barn there was a real wow-factor as the entire space was filled with suppliers and beautiful table decorations.
The table decorations stole the show as every single display looked extraordinary. Qube Events and Productions and Butterfly Events created unique and interesting designs that really gave our couples some inspiration for how to style their table décor.
Sequin tablecloths, blossom trees, floating candles and stunning floral arrangements, Butterfly Events designed a beautiful top table set-up and some gorgeous tables for our guests to admire.
With grey and blush tones, Qube combined orchids, hydrangeas and silk posies with their tall-stemmed vases to form stunning visual centrepieces.
Along the right-hand side of the barn, all of our fabulous caterers presented the delicious menus on offer on their separate stalls with a few scrumptious tasters.
Stable Yard Catering demonstrated how their signature sharing dishes could get your guests talking during the wedding breakfast alongside Barretts and Vanilla in Allseasons who were there to showcase their range of menus.
Situated around the room, we had Sam Fitton wowing everyone with his astonishing magic tricks, Rodo Creative presenting their stunning wedding stationary and Vitalianos providing everyone with a delicious ice-cream to sample.
Our guests were spoilt for choice for wedding attire inspiration as Best Man showcased their fantastic range of suits, Maria Modes displayed their beautiful wedding dresses, Kinderton Hats bought along their fascinating selection of stylish headwear and Luna + Wild offered a bohemian flair with their floral crowns.
Lightech showed off their amazing lighting options, Eventech offered their extensive range of additional extras to make your wedding that little bit more special whilst Lee Brown Photography and RTP films demonstrated how they could capture your big day.
Making your way around the barn, GB Fun Casinos provided guests with the option to add a Blackjack or Roulette table to your wedding and Buttercup Cakes put on an excellent display of delicious sweet treats.
All of our couples left with lots of inspiration having had an amazing afternoon browsing all the excellent suppliers that we work with at Heaton House Farm.
